At St Malo, I do have a criticism. No bus outside the terminal to take you to the railway station. When one does find the bus stop, it is not clearly marked. Travelled in club class but all parts of the vessel seemed to be very clean and comfortable. Very polite and helpful at check in and on board ferry. It's a shame but my brief stay was even shorter than planned. I was given a sailing the next day, which left St Malo at 8am.
As I had a 4 hour drive to St Malo I booked a hotel, in St Malo the night before, which was lovely but an extra expense. I lost a night in my hotel in Jersey and obviously a days sighteeing. Travel by sea in adverse weather conditions can be stressful and unpleasant. Below are cheap Condor Ferries crossings and special offers. You can get some superb deals in the duty free shop although check your allowances. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaints about Condor are the following; 1. Food is pretty rank and overpriced. Normally the last 30 minutes of the journey you will be offered half priced sandwiches to clear.
Not so punctual, I have travelled many times on the fast ferry and experienced several engine problems resulting in arrival delays of around an hour. The only problem with the fast ferry, if the weather is bad, the boat is normally cancelled, however their conventional ferry runs in all weather conditions. All in all, my preferred method of travelling to Jersey because I hate flying.

We are limited to what hot food we can provide on aluminium ships as we cannot use a naked flame, unlike the conventional service , but your comments are well received and have been passed on to our senior cabin manager.
Last year, we enjoyed a significant improvement with the technical operation of the fleet, and delays were very much an exception. We would however apologise if you were affected by a delay.
Thanks again for the feedback. We've travelled to Jersey many times over the years family connections and have always flown in the past from either Gatwick or Southampton. As we had to transport some large items with us this time, we booked with some trepidation the Condor fast ferry from Weymouth.
